When an adjusted limit is exceeded or not reached, limit switches for pneumatic actuators issue a binary electric signal. This signal is suitable for switching control signals, issuing visual or audible alarms, or connecting control and signalizing devices.  

Type 3776 Limit Switch
(EEx ia, EEx nA)

Different limit contacts, switching functions, connection types and connection options allow the limit switch to be tailor-made for linear and rotary actuators. When equipped with an integrated solenoid valve, the limit switch can also be used to control the actuator.
